Wow! Here we are at November! This year just seems to keep picking up speed.
It's time to start thinking about applying to colleges, if you haven't already. Or, if you plan to move straight into your career, it's time to start planning that out. Are you planning on an internship? Journeyman? Apprenticeship? It's better to get your ducks in a row now than to be scrambling at the end of the year. Also, make sure you're dedicating your time and effort to learning your senior year materials and keeping your grades up --- it is EXTREMELY difficult to make up the first half of a class if you fail the first semester! Set yourself up for success: ask for help if you need it and utilize your resources. I'm always here after school, just run it by me ahead of time. Remember, I am your teacher. So, that means that I am here to HELP you. I'm your cheerleader, coach, and mentor... if you let me, that is. I'm on your side. I want to see you succeed - but in order for you to do that, you've got to help yourself! I'm not here to nag, I'm here to encourage! Here's some fun tips to keep in mind:
